Cleanup, repairs and preparation for sale

Bring out the best in your acreage.

An acreage can offer space, freedom and possibilities. It can also become more work than its owner can manage.

Twisted Roots helps you recover neglected areas, tackle unfinished repairs and make your property more useful and inviting. Whether you’re preparing to sell or improving the place you call home, we begin with your priorities and a practical plan.

Sale-ready Work proportionate to the benefit

Preparing to sell?

Help buyers see the possibilities.

Overgrown grounds, cluttered outbuildings and unfinished repairs can make it difficult for buyers to appreciate what a property offers.

We work with you and your real estate agent to identify improvements that deserve attention—and expenses that may not be worthwhile.

If your acreage has been on the market for a while, we can review buyer feedback with your agent and develop a focused plan to address condition and presentation concerns.

Our goal is to improve sale readiness while keeping the work proportionate to the potential benefit. Your agent guides pricing and marketing; we lead the approved rehabilitation work.

Preparation for sale

Give buyers a clearer view of your property’s value.

  • A walkthrough with you and your listing agent
  • Priorities informed by buyer feedback
  • Entrance and yard improvements
  • Cleanup and repairs before new listing photographs
  • Preparation of workshops and outbuildings
  • A defined scope, budget and completion schedule

Work is assessed individually. Structural repairs, specialized trades and larger projects require separate scoping and any necessary approvals.

How it works

A clear plan from the beginning

  1. 1

    Walk the property

We discuss your goals, examine the areas needing attention and identify what matters most. If you’re selling, your listing agent can join us.

  2. 2

    Agree on the work

You receive a prioritized proposal outlining the scope, price and schedule. We can also discuss completing improvements in stages.

  3. 3

    Put the plan into action

We carry out the agreed work, coordinate outside trades where needed and keep you informed. Additional work requires your approval.

  4. 4

Get ready for what comes next

Enjoy a more useful property—or work with your agent to present it to buyers with fresh photographs and updated marketing.

Our approach

Thoughtful improvements. Clear spending.

A larger renovation is not always the right answer. Sometimes cleanup, a few repairs and attention to first impressions are the most practical place to begin.

For sale preparation, we consider the cost of the work alongside its likely benefit, informed by your agent’s local market knowledge. Improvements cannot guarantee a higher price or faster sale.

Assessments are paid services. Approved projects use written scopes and agreed payment schedules, with payments made as work progresses.
